Flood Light
A floodlight is a broad-beamed, high-intensity artificial light. They are often used to illuminate outdoor playing fields while an outdoor sports event is being held during low-light conditions. Flood lights emit bright, highly concentrated light, making them ideal for use in outdoor landscape or indoor ceiling fixtures for directional or display lighting. R-type and PAR-type bulbs are popular flood light bulbs. Flood lights work by “flooding” an area with light, where they can produce a wider beam of usually up to 120-degrees. These area lights are great for illuminating larger outdoor spaces while maintaining the same wattage or lumen output as a spotlight. Normally, you have to place the device at least 75% of building's height, away from its base. As the name suggests the term flood light stands for electric goods that illuminate with extreme brightness and lighten the whole area.
